Get rid of and make money!!!!!
Lately I have been trying to come up with creative ways to save money. John being the only one of us working full time+ 3 kiddos things get a little tight, well alot tight. Saturday I am having a garage sale. I LOVE having garage sales. I have one a year and sometimes more than that. The kids are constantly outgrowing their clothes and shoes and I also have "outgrown" alot of mine too. It's amazing how people actually get out early to see my "junk". We are hoping to get all 5 of us out and working. ( Jack will entertain). My friend Angela D. is the person to ask about going to and having "yard sales". She actually wants to write a book about it. Like, "Yard Sales for Dummies". She has taught me so much about the do's and don'ts of the sale. 1. Do not waste time or money pricing things. 2. Always have atleast 1 piece of furniture in your sale. 3. Have all baby gear and clothes up front and clearly stated on your sign. 4. Have a sale at the end of summer or the end of winter. 5. Merchandise your items like it's a store. Have I bored you all to tears? If you live in Hernando and have something to sell, call me and bring it over for a joint sale. Fun stuff. I'll come back to report on my very small sale.

HELP!!!
I'm making this short because I'm doing laundry, so here it is...
I have been having problems sleeping for about 3 weeks now. I want to fall asleep in the worst way but I just can't! I have tried taking Benedryl and Tylenol PM and that has not helped at all. What happens is that I can't sleep so I wander around the house trying to get sleepy, wake up John telling him that I can't sleep, eat something, drink something and even( sorry to say this) but run in place. I wake up fine and in the afternoons I feel drunk as Cooter Brown and almost sick at my stomach because I am so tired. By the time it's bedtime, I'm over it. Can't sleep. HELP!!! Any ideas?

What great weather, but what do we wear?
Today, my friend Kathryn and I worked. We had to go into the "hood" of Memphis to a warehouse and picked up furniture. Luckily I have stow-and-go seats in my van so it fit a coffee table and a small cute table and 4 chairs. Then off to John's office to deliver our purchases. After trying really hard to impress John, we put together the worlds heaviest coffee table. Needless to say, putting furniture together, setting it up and traipsing back and forth with decor really made made us hot. After we finished we got into the van and headed in to town to get something to eat. The wind was blowing, so we rolled the windows down and opened the sunroof and let the wind blow all over us. I have to say, I felt like a child again sticking our hands out windows. Without fail, we saw some pretty interesting things on our quest for food. We saw an elderly black lady on a street corner with a megaphone saying something, however, bless her, she didn't have it up close to her mouth so no one heard her "message". When we approached the intersection, I told Kat that I was going to "roll" down my window and tell her that she needed to talk directly into the thing for people to hear her. I was disappointed because she was finished. I wish I knew what she was trying to say though. We decided to go to Subway for lunch. We pulled up to the two-story building and noticed that it was not a "dine-in" establishment. On the side of the building was a metal staircase that lead to the "Pleasure Treasure". We knew that we were in one classy joint. We were very hungry so we went on in... To Subway.
Back to the weather... It has been rather cool in the morning here. I have no idea what to put the kids in. We have 1 or 2 outfits that are neither summer or winter so we have worn those things to school each day this week. The problem is that all 3 children need a wardrobe update. Now. It's great that they are growing and all but goodness, they sure need lots of stuff. Jack has gotten so big that his clothes unsnaps as he crawls. Do they wear summer clothes and freeze in the morning or wear winter clothes and burn up in the afternoons? So many kiddos. So many questions. So many sizes. Oh, and let's not forget shoes. That's a whole other story.

Pig Pen
I think I need a Roomba. Did I spell that correctly? It doesn't matter how many times I vacuum, a certain someone comes right along a dirties up the floor again. Because most of our house has concrete floors, we bought a canister vacuum because of the hard floor attachment. I literally use it in some form or fashion everyday. I think at Christmas I am going to stick a bow on it because it seems to be permanent decoration at our house. Jack loves to ride the canister part when I vacuum. You would think a baby would be scared of the noise, but he's okay with it. He thinks anything that moves is the best. He even drives baby dolls. The girls think it's funny for a while. If I had a Roomba, it could go constantly around my house. I wonder if I could tie it on the back end of Jack. That sure would make life easier. He's just like " Pig Pen", with the cloud of dirt and food trailing behind already. You know I inherited that vigorous scrub from my mom and Nana, so he doesn't stay that way long. Laundry calls...
